Batehaven is one of the most visited beaches on the South Coast of NSW. A favourite for families, as swimming is generally safer (though always check beforehand with locals). Fun rides and the famous fair at Christmas, and a secure playground permanently located. Good bathroom amenities and shops nearby, including a chemist.
This painting ignores all that. The idea is to celebrate the majesty of the cliffs, lit by soft light and a little bit of mist in the Bay.
