Fly & Land – Whale Magic

This piece captures a physical impossibility, highlighting not only the magic of whales but the magic of art. Here a whale appears to be slamming into the water after having flown thrust through the air  in breach, yet on a second glance the whale is above the air in the act of the breach. Thus it captures both the flying and the landing in the one image.
